(Just Add Peaches, #1)
Publication date: June 20th 2019
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

Hotel executive Wendy Marsh puts her career on hold when she inherits half of her family’s inn. Her to-do list? It’s simple: teach her spoiled cousin how to manage Fountenoy Hall, then hightail it back to her structured, careful life in Atlanta. Romance has never been part of Wendy’s plan – so what is it about the sexy history professor researching the inn that she finds so tempting?

Rob Upshaw would be enjoying his time at the Inn at Fountenoy Hall if he wasn’t secretly hunting for a family treasure lost during Prohibition. Only a few minor inconveniences stand in his way. His uncle’s old journals are cryptic, he has only a vague description of the loot, and the beautiful, uptight innkeeper with a subtle sense of humor might hold the key to his quest. Even though Rob’s career is built on facts, he accepts he might have to lie to Wendy. But falling for her? That’s out of the question.

When she convinces them to send her to public school in the nearby town, a new world opens up to her.

As she pursues her education, Rose chooses a different path, leaving her parents heartbroken at her insistence they are hiding something from her. She’s convinced her father isn’t the man her mother married.

Famous in a Small Town by Emma Mills – Book Review

famous in a small townI have heard so much about Emma Mills since I got back into reading. Everyone seems to rave about her cute contemporaries, and I’ve been meaning to pick up something by her for a while, but never got around to it. I am so grateful that Henry Holt sent me a review copy of her newest novel, Famous in a Small Town – because I LOVED it!

I’m not usually the biggest fan of cute contemporaries, but Emma Mills has such a fantastic writing style, I was pulled in immediately and had a hard time putting it down. I finished it in as little time as possible! Read on for the rest of my thoughts on this awesome book.

My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Christina Lauren – Book Review

my favorite half-night standI love Christina Lauren’s books. My very first book by the duo was Autoboyography, which was an incredible LGBT story about two boys falling in love despite one’s disapproving surroundings. It was the sweetest book, and I highly recommend you give it a read!

After the beauty that was Autoboyography, I knew I had to read more Christina Lauren books. Thankfully, Gallery Books sent me a review copy of My Favorite Half-Night Stand in exchange for an honest review.

Spoiler alert, I loved it.

Breaking Faith by E. Graziani – Book Review

breaking faith ~ I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. ~

When E. Graziani reached out to me about reviewing one of her novels, I was seriously on top of the world. My Bookstagram was still fairly new at the time, and I absolutely did not expect to have authors asking me of all people to review their books! It was incredibly exciting.

From her catalog of books I chose Breaking Faith. I’m a fan of heavier contemporaries, so the synopsis sounded right up my alley. She sent me the book, and I was ready to jump right in and be swept away in the world of Breaking Faith.
